And once upon a time, when he was young and didn’t get along with his dad (like, at all), there was a little girl, four years younger than him who lived across the street who always made him feel better. He’s got a great body, except for the bullet wounds (of a gun-shot that occurred in the first book of this series before we got to know him) but they don’t detract from his gorgeousness. And he’s one of Lee’s guys (working for Lee’s private investigative services) and therefore part of the “hot bunch.” He loves his mom. I’ve had light-hearted “fights” on-line about Kristen Ashley’s men we were all claiming our favorite guy and this one had a lot of women fighting over him!!! There is just something about this guy that’s oh so sexy there’s a lot of both angst and humor – plus this guy is one of those ultimate alpha guys too – but he’s sweet and tender with his lady. I probably would have stopped at four and split the reviews in half if this wasn’t his book. So, Rock Chick Revenge – this is Luke’s story. (And there are two books by two different authors being released next week I CANNOT wait for and I think I might do some rereading/reviewing of the first couple in one of those series in the meantime, hmmmm). So this will be the last of the Rock Chick reviews for a few weeks to give us a bit more variety. I just wanted to give other authors some time and not inundate the blog with only Kristen Ashley. Okay, so I know there are a lot of Rock Chick books in this series and that you’re probably saying “enough already” (unless you’re reading them, then you might very well be saying “I want more”!) There are eight books in the series and no worries, I will go back and review the last three soon. He has handcuffs and he’s not afraid to use them. The clash of the Rock Chick and Hot Guy begins but Luke’s got the advantage. Too late, Luke knows she’s up to something and he’s already seen many a Rock Chick try to fight her own battles without the Hot Bunch stepping in. Since Luke, Ava’s childhood crush, is now a private investigator, she thinks to enlist him but changes her mind at the last second.
